A Good Stay for Adults

I enjoyed my stay, especially the friendly front desk staff. My room was lovely, but I could hear a lot of noise from the hallway. The area felt a bit rough at night, so I recommend staying in. Check out the onsite dining for a nice meal!

Some annoying quirks set the stay back a notch. The shower head in the upgraded room delivered a disappointing experience, and lingering musty odors permeated both the room and hallways, likely due to San Diego's humidity. Parking fees at $15 a night felt excessive for the overall value, and the breakfast price of nearly $16 seemed high, given the variations in food quality. There were also occasional issues with the elevator's slow service, particularly during peak times when youth groups were around, leading to some delays. A little modernization could benefit the guest experience overall.

Breakfast, particularly the artisan bread, stands out as a highlight. However, the noise levels occasionally disrupt the peace, and there could be better parking options available.

My room was so spacious that I felt like I had my own little apartment! The comfy two queen beds and cozy seating area made it perfect for unwinding after a day out. Plus, the complimentary shuttle to nearby attractions like Sea World was a total game-changer for stress-free family fun!

The hotel was a solid choice for our visit to Old Town San Diego. We appreciated how close we were to local attractions like the Old Town State Historic Park and even enjoyed visiting the Whaley House Museum. Oh man, the cured meats at the hotel bar are next level! I had a plate that was basically a meat lover's dream—just pure bliss! Plus, the local eats nearby, like Phil's BBQ, are a carnivore’s paradise—get ready to feast! And if you’re into craft brews, Modern Times Beer is just a hop away!
